Memorandum of Understanding aiming transparency
The High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets (HIDAA) and Transparency International Albania (TIA) commit themselves to closely collaborate in the identification and prevention of corruptive affairs in public administration.
In accordance to this Memorandum of Understanding, signed today (19 March 2010), by Inspector General of HIDAA, Mr. Adriatik Llalla and Executive Director of TIA, Mr. Lutfi Dervishi, the parties agree “to exchange information within the scope of their activity in the fight against corruption”.
In pursuance to this act, HIDAA is committed to take into consideration any information referred by TIA, within its jurisdiction and competences, as well as provide the necessary instruments to aim transparency in comply with the object of this Memorandum.
Through this act, TIA expresses its high commitment to refer to HIDAA any information and lodged complaints, that are closely related to the scope of activity of the High Inspectorate, as well as provide its contribution in strengthening the legal mechanisms of HIDAA in the fight against corruption and periodically inform HIDAA on the index number of corruption among officials of public administration.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed today is another important step of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets aiming the transparency and collaboration with civil society.
